@Raymaster Slick has a replacement version?! I'd love to have it. :)

@HeySlickThatsMe "This time you got my like, the only thing that i don't like about the mod is that it has mixed lore (Real brands + Fake brands) but that's something i can fix myself"

He's got my like too, but the McDonald is really out of place, and dark with empty shelves (very contrary to a real McDonald).

Oh, and the place needs real MIRRORS: one of the perks of having a MLO.

@hotmale88 Nope, like I said, the entire house (ch1_09_arc007) is one single big mesh. There simply are no doors in to make dynamic. (Not unless a mesh creator edited out the faux doors, for ppl to put dynamic doors in).

Be we should probably continue this in the Weston mod thread.

@hotmale88 If I recall correctly, the Denvin Weston mansion didn't have truly openable doors (they're just part of the mesh). Besides, I know that mod, but the house suffers from the presence of an annoying occlusion map** that -- unless renoved with CW -- make it uninhabitable, as parts of the home/furniture will suddenly disappear under certain camera angles. Unless fixed properly, I would avoid it altogether, if I were you. :)

** The author himself mentions these as:

    "KNOWN ISSUES:
Visual glitches when the camera comes in contact with the exterior building wall.
Certain areas near the aquarium causes visual glitches.
Invisible wall near the entrance along the overpass and the office."

The occlusion map simply needs to be removed, or it's never going to work properly.

@hotmale88 "is it easy to move this house if i want it to be at some other location on the map?"

P.S. Yes, that's the idea. Only change the root position/rotation, and be done! CodeWaker can move an entire MILO, just as if it were a single object). I've done this myself too, with several of the official high-end apartments, with added/replaced paintings of my own in it).

@hotmale88 In principle, an MLO is moveable in its entirety. However, if you look at 'malibu_mansion_building.ymap', you'll see it still consists of objects with absolute coordinates, not attached to the MILO. (My guess is, because it's a major PITA to convert all those hardcoded, absolute positons to relative coordinates and rotations for a MILO. I hope CW will be able to do that, one day. or perhaps one could do it the 'quick and dirty' way, like writing a Perl script or something to do the conversion).

So, 'malibu_mansion_building.ymap' won't move along with the MLO. A quick glance shows the actual MLO basically only has all his self-made, major mesh-parts in it (and, near as I can tell, a few attached objects). But give the man a chance, likely his next Project willl be all-MLO, from the get-go.

@hotmale88 A M(I)LO is a Moveable-Interior Loader. It consists of a 'root' ymap, that sets the base positition. Then (usually inside the .ytyp actually) is an embedded ymap, as it were, where all object coordinates are defined relative to said root (that's why it's moveable: change the position of the root, and everything moves along with it).

A MLO, for short, generally consists of several rooms, with defined openings between them, called 'portals', where light can come in and out, like windows, door openings, etc. (Outside is essentially a 'room' too). And standard objects are generally linked to each room (to establish a relationship to the room, so mirror portals and sound-generating objects can work properly).

All this portal-stuff also means a MLO is natively (without portals defined) completely separated from the outside world. Literally, so rain and such will not fall thru the roof of a MILO (unless you tell it so). So, you can set your own weather/time cycle environment inside a MLO, all defined within the MLO itself. I suggest you examine some of the high-end apartment MLO's, to see how it's done. Some, for instance, will have a bedroom with like a purple-ish haze inside. Your fantasy is the limit.

Therefore, porting his build to MLO, means @BigShaqNOKetchup's build has made a major leap forward!

@SkylineGTRFreak Looks great! But how come explosion.meta isn't referenced anywhere?!

@BigShaqNOKetchup You are a brilliant man! And, honestly, there's nothing I could teach you that you do not already understand 10x better yourself. :)

I had really hoped for MIRRORS, though You already understand MLO now, so, all you need to add is a few mirror portals extra. ;)

As for doors (ppl mentionbed those above), shouldn't they already be dynamic?! I took a quick look, and some seem to be defined as:

    <archetypeName>Prop_CH_025c_G_door_01</archetypeName>
    <flags value="1572865"/>

The 1572865 flag should make all doors dynamic (with the exceptions of certain vault doors and such). Going to look into that now further, as it should be a trivial thing to change.

Oh, and I agree with the rest: you're currently the Nr. 1 builder in town!
