hey, can you fix the light on the roof of these services vehicles, its too bright and big
emergencies*
The Film Grain effects should be off by default, as they were never in the Gen 7 versions. The grain is most notable when switching characters.
but for now it can be done by setting "noise" and "noise_size" in the timecycle xml's to 0.000 0.000
update de pics and videos pls,the game with this mods dont looks like that anymore
@Alex106 is there a video tut on this pls let me know if there is one :D
@TakeAChanse34 No, there isn't one
@Alex106 thanks for the reply i just dont know how to install things without a video
2.5.1 was better and lighter
Out of curiosity, why are some of the file edits placed in x64b.rpf, instead of just using update.rpf?
@eldarios_01 The core mod is the same (with the difference of the restored clouds being the default ones and two extra tc modifiers have been edited to match the gen7 version)
@Jax765 I did that in order to avoid to include the entire v_clouds.rpf because the game "wants" all the files, if loading from the update.rpf, otherwise only some clouds (in this case, only the modded ones), will load
@Alex106 Gotcha. So if I wanted, I could just copy the vanilla v_cloud.rpf to my update.rpf archive, import your edits, and it should work fine? I assume it would be the same for Bugstar Fixes, which I believe edits x64e.rpf.
Something else to note, the sky at night looks badly compressed in vanilla. VisualV fixes that problem by adding modified textures to skydome.ytd. Is that something you'd consider adding?
https://ibb.co/rRHhcmgX
https://ibb.co/Z6KQB6Cs
@Jax765 Yes, it will work.
As for the sky issue I will probably add it to Bugstar Fixes
@Alex106 Nice, looking forward to it.
I've been testing the mod a little more. So far, I'm really liking it, it's a big improvement over vanilla, and I personally prefer it over VisualV. There's just a few bits of feedback that I'm wondering if you could also address in the next update.
1) At night, there's noticeable sky banding (separate from the compression issue). Especially when it's raining. This is barely noticeable with VisualV, would that likely be due to it having darker nights?
2) Puddles in the road after it's finished raining have some draw distance issues where they fade in and out quite noticeably. Again, it's less of a problem with VisualV, which makes me wonder if it can also be fixed with some xml edits to visualsettings.
@Alex106 Thanks a lot for the mod. I'm using it with the Enhanced Edition. Just one question: I don't like the console-style skybox. How can I restore the original sky texture?
I did it. Thanks again for the mod
@Jax765 For the banding I think the best solution is to use the Deband shader for Reshade
As for the second issue, I'll have to see
Is this mod compatible with Bugstar and your other fixes?
@skysmashify Yes
Awesome, thanks!
